The NGO is the national representative body for gamekeepers in England and Wales. It was established in 1997 and today has over 10,000 members.

The BASC's mission is to promote and protect sporting and shooting and the well-being of the countryside throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.

The National Governing Body for Clay Target Shooting in England which regulates the standards of safety and competition at 450 registered grounds around the country.

The British Shooting Sports Council is an umbrella organisation representing the major shooting associations in the United Kingdom.
