Set along the magnificent Cheshire and Staffordshire border, with some fantastic events and entertainment orientated around countryside persuits for all the family is ‘The Gundog and Game Fair' on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July, 2014 at Court Farm, Betley.  This event provides a host of stalls, great food and drink facilities, main arena demonstrations and interactive activities for young and old to take part in.
 
The Gundog and Game Fair offers a variety of attractions for all with the ‘have a go’ air rifle range, superb ferret racing and shows courtesy of Andy Handley and The British Ferret Club, Archery activities with professional tutors and Lurcher and Terrier shows plus a digging competition with prizes up for grabs on both event days. The Game Fair offers many activities for children of all ages these include trampolines, bouncy castles, go-karting and a bouncy disco, not to forget many attractions in the main arena.
 

The Main Arena

 
Falconry
The Rosliston Forestry Centre provides guests with incredible displays of birds of prey, which will be held in the main arena twice daily.There is a range of all types of Falcons, Eagles and Hawks flying in spectacular scenery. After these demonstrations and displays you can get a closer loot at the birds in Roslistons static display with a chance to ask any questions or queries to the experts.

Gundogs
Visitors can join Dave Ross and his working gundogs ath the Ravenshall Gundogs demostrations which will be on in the main arena three times daily. These dogs are put through their paces with a fantastic display of control and obedience. Dave will take visitors through the whole experience of owning and training a gundog, with the chance to ask any questions or queries you may have surrounding dog training and the demonstrations.
  
Chain Saw Wood Carving 
Visitors at this attraction in the main arena can watch chain saw wood carving brought to you by the amazing Mark Bella. Mark will transform and sculpt a log into a beautiful piece of artwork, this is fantastic viewing for all the family.
 
Sheepdogs   
The Sheepdog displays will be in the main arena also twice daily.
Thomas Longton has been giving Sheepdog displays and demonstrations with geese and ducks all over the British Isles for over 20 years, providing you all with an informative and amusing experience. A great event for the children and all the family.

For The Dogs


All dogs are welcome to the fair, with the chance for dogs of any ability to participate in the gundog scurries, to compete for fun or a £500 cash prize.
