The Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair marks the start of the game fair season, and is the East Midland's premier country sports event.
 
Showcasing country life at its best, the Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair attracts a fusion of families and field sports enthusiasts who take part in an outstanding range of countryside attractions and family entertainment.
 

Main Arena Attractions

The focal point of any event and very much at Kelmarsh Country Fair is the Main Arena, with a fun filled programme that audiences of all ages will enjoy and experience. Visitors will enjoy seeing traditional favourites on display, and will enjoy world-class demonstrations that are both entertaining and educational, especially so for the younger generations with children’s features including craft workshops, falconry classrooms, and of course a funfair. For you home and garden fanatics, the event offers over 300 top-quality trade stands selling everything you need to make you home and garden look even more fantastic. With such a wide variety of entertainment on offer, everyone will be able to take away something new from Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair Main Arena.
 
With presentation of the highest order, well-loved attractions are back including the David Seamark’s Sheepdog Presentations, Ye Olde Redtail Falconry, Brian Brinded and Cyril the Squirrel and Boyd Exell Carriage Driving.
 

Angling

Much like many other successful attractions, Kelmarsh Angling Festival is back, once again joining the Country Fair 2014. This year Kelmarsh Angling Festival offers anglers of all disciplines the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in angling, with a selection of retailers, exceptional have-a-go competitions and expert tuition. Tuition will also be provided throughout the weekend event by The Professional Anglers Association, providing you with those all important fishing and angling tips and techniques.
Much like the Angling opportunities there will be world renowned field sports competitions offering the largest prize funds in their respective disciplines to many "have a go" opportunities to learn more about outdoor pursuits and the Great British countryside, the Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair has everything you could need for a great family day out.

 
Terriers and Lurchers

Top quality Terrier and Lurcher events are a proud tradition at the Kelmarsh Countryman Fair with the focal event, the Midland Game Fair, home to the world’s premier event for earth and running dogs. Over the weekend period Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair offers 2 qualifying events for this prestigious Championship and a wide range of classes and field events.

 

Gamekeepers Row

Gamekeepers Row, in association with Marsdens Game Feeds, is back for 2014 providing the products and services you need for that all important management of a successful shoot. Various Exhibitors are on hand to ensure Gamekeepers have the essential equipment ranging from pest control to landscaping, from game refrigeration equipment to polts and eggs. The National Gamekeepers Organisation alongside other key organisations will be in attendance to provide advice and promoting greater awareness of the role of gamekeepers in protecting and conserving the countryside.
